Whether you’re serving in your church, your community, your workplace—or around your kitchen table—She Flourishes is for you. This monthly online gathering is a gentle space to nurture your faith, explore your calling, and connect with other women on the same journey.
Each session brings a guest voice or guided conversation to refresh your spirit, spark new ways of thinking, and remind you of the unique ways God has planted you to live and love.
Come to be encouraged, to share openly, and to discover that you’re not walking this path alone.

Jesus & Women

Warm, engaging, and deeply insightful, Dr. Valérie Duval-Poujol brings a passion for Scripture and a heart for women’s flourishing in the Church and the world. A respected French Baptist theologian, Bible translator, and advocate, Valérie has inspired audiences across Europe and internationally through her teaching, leadership, depth of knowledge, and compassion-filled ministry.
She has served in numerous leadership roles with the BWA, including as a BWA appointed advocate, delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, and helping to launch the Stand Against Domestic Violence resource hub.
Join us for a meaningful morning of learning, encouragement, and conversation as we explore the life-giving vision of Jesus and women in Scripture.

Join women leaders from around the world for an evening of encouragement, connection, and shared vision. Featuring Merritt Johnston (USA), Executive Director of BWA Women; Karlene Edwards Warrick (Trinidad & Tobago), President of BWA Women; and the presidents of the BWA Women’s continental unions, this gathering will celebrate the remarkable ways God is moving through women across the globe.
Together, we’ll hear stories of faith, leadership, and ministry impact — including the inspiring work taking place right here at Thornhill Baptist Church. Enjoy refreshments and meaningful conversation as we pray for and encourage one another in our shared calling.
