For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

His faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100:5

CBWOQ has entered an exciting new season of ministry, building on decades of faithful women’s gatherings and a rich legacy of discipleship. Many of these relationships have spanned generations, from childhood mentorship to lifelong connections—showing the lasting impact of community.

As we honour this legacy, we’re embracing a renewed focus on intergenerational ministry. At our upcoming gathering, we’ll explore how to empower new generations while celebrating those who came before, building bridges, and inspiring women to carry this legacy into the future.

Linda-Joy-Steenkamp-Family-Ministries-Pastor

Plenary Speaker

Linda-Joy Steenkamp was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and moved to Canada 21 years ago with her husband Adrian and two children, carrying with her a heart for service and a deep connection to faith. Growing up in a pastor’s home, Linda-Joy was no stranger to ministry, but it wasn’t until 34 years ago that the call to serve truly took root in their heart.

Over the years, God has shaped Linda-Joy in ways she never could have imagined, revealing strengths and skills that continue to grow and evolve. For the past 12 years, she has been part of the pastoral team at Chartwell church, witnessing firsthand how faith and service can transform lives—starting with her own.

As a passionate servant leader, Linda-joy is dedicated to guiding and supporting others on their own journeys of faith, all while remaining grounded in the belief that God’s plan unfolds in the most unexpected ways.

Worship Leader

With a steadfast faith in our beautiful Saviour, Cheryl Miller is a woman of passionate worship. Seeing worship as one of the most significantly infimate gifts we have as believers, Cheryl has been called by the Lord to lead others in worship to the throne room of God. Through tragedy and loss in Cheryl's story, worship has grown to be an unspeakably rich experience of devotion to Jesus that she longs to invite others into.

From Sunday morning worship to camp-meeting revival services and intimate worship events, Cheryl leads worship gatherings with passion and joy for the audience of One. With a powerful anointing to worship, Cheryl beautifully ushers others into the Lord's presence where lives are changed from meeting with Him.
