CBWOQ is a movement of Baptist women in Ontario and Quebec who believe that women are God’s Beloved—
called, gifted, and equipped to join in God’s work in the world.
For over 150 years, we’ve created spaces for women to grow in faith, build community,
discover their calling, and live out their faith in action.
Our work has evolved, but our heart remains the same:

Our Story
Today, we continue to ask: What is God inviting us to do, and who is God inviting us to become?
We seek to respond to the needs of women in our time with courage, compassion, generosity, and hope.
CBWOQ began with Baptist women responding to the spiritual, social, and material needs of women and girls in India.
They prayed, learned, gave, organized, and invited others to join them. What started as a response became a movement of women discipling, equipping, and empowering one another to share the good news of Jesus through word and deed.
